Tesla showroom, service center coming to Aliso Viejo

Property owner ValueRock gets the city's OK to replace the Michael's, Tuesday Morning and part of the vacant Lowe's with the Tesla facility.

IRVINE, CA – November 18, 2022 – Three stores at The Commons retail shopping center in Aliso Viejo will be converted into a Tesla showroom and service center, according to property owner ValueRock.

The city council approved a conditional-use permit in July to remodel the center, which lost its key anchor, Lowe’s, in 2019.

Recently, the city gave the all-clear for Tesla to occupy a good chunk of space at The Commons. The showroom and service center will eventually take over Michael’s, Tuesday Morning and a portion of the Lowe’s building.
The center is also getting a 99 Ranch Market, which is slated to open in early 2024, according to ValueRock.

The 53,000-square-foot Tesla facility will include a 37,698-square-foot service center, a showroom of 1,750 square feet and a 1,590-square-foot lounge.

ValueRock said it did not yet have an opening date for Tesla.
